Brian Arganbright has served on the Parent Board at Lexington Montessori since May 2010. He is an associate professor of French at Transylvania University and holds a Ph.D and an MA in French Literature from New York University. He has lived in Lexington since 2001 and has two daughters who attend Lexington Montessori School. Previous board experience includes a three-year term on the board of Good Foods Market and Cafe. Brian is a returned Peace Corps volunteer who served as an ESL instructor for three years at Safarik University in the former Czechoslovakia. He has also taught for three years at universities in Paris and Lyon France.

Diane N. Loeffler, secretary, has served on the parent board since May 2010. Diane currently works at the University of Kentucky as a Lecturer in the College of Social Work as well as working as an independent research, evaluation and fund development consultant for non-profit community organizations. Diane holds a PhD and a MSW from the University of Kentucky and a BA from the University of Iowa. A Midwesterner at heart, Lexington has been her home for over ten years now. Both of the Loeffler children attend LMS. Outside of work, Diane is an avid soccer player, runner and rock climber.

Sarah Sloan is currently the director of outreach for the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky, a non-profit dedicated to serving those with brain injuries while preventing future injuries. She oversees the outreach staff for both BIAK and the Michael Quinlan Brain Tumor Foundation, and serves as a point of counsel for families and survivors of brain injury. Additionally, Sarah works to develop funds and institute grants relevant to the prevention, advocacy and education of brain injury across the commonwealth. She has served on several non-profit boards and has consulted on projects such as Teaching Tolerance and Preventing Child Abuse. Sarah received her degrees from the University of Kentucky and is currently attending classes to become a licensed clinical counselor.
