 Lexington Montessori School (LMS) is an accredited, independent Montessori school that was founded in 1980; it is non-profit and non-denominational. Approximately 60 children, ranging in age from 2 ½ years through the sixth grade, currently attend the school. LMS is centrally located in Lexington, close to both to downtown and the University of Kentucky.
