Lexington Montessori School (LMS) enrolls children without regard to racial, religious, national, or ethnic background. Enrollment options include a half-day program for preschool starting at age 2 ½, a full-day kindergarten program and an elementary program for grades 1 through 6. The morning work cycle begins at 8 a.m., with early dropoff available starting at 7:30 a.m. Optional afterschool care is available until 5 p.m. for children in enrolled in any of the programs.
Steps in the application process include completing and mailing the application (link provided below) to the school and calling LMS to arrange for a visit. During the visit to the school, both the parent(s) and child will be interviewed by LMS staff. Upon successful completion of the application and interview process, enrollment will be offered if there is a place available for the child. If a place is not available, the child will be placed on a waiting list; as openings occur they will be filled in order from the waiting list.
